Weddings are expensive!

I try to be the least of your worries, and the lowest budget line item in your expenses. I’m easy to work with, can read and play just about anything, have all my own gear and decades of experience to offer. I show up on time, set up where you or the wedding planner determine, play the music you requested beautifully and artfully (your guests will be thrilled!), and pack up and be on my way when I’m done. No fuss.

Generally, my rate starts at $75 for 1/2 an hour of music. This works out great for elopements and other small parties. All prices are subject to change due to Covid and other unforeseen circumstances, but once we have a signed contract with a deposit made, no changes will be made. Prices do not include travel expenses (gas, tolls, parking, hotel, meals) and will be charged extra. The rate will be based on the actual mileage to AND from the address of the event. If I have to stay over, you will pay the actual cost of the hotel I find. (I always look for the best rates, generally a Holiday Inn Express). I provide my own meals and beverages.

Once we have a chance to meet either on line or in person, we will determine the requirements of the contract, you will sign and return it with a 50% deposit made to my Venmo account. The day of the event, you will make the final payment to the same account. Please encourage your guests to tip, they can do so in cash, or Venmo if they prefer. Tips are very welcome and much appreciated!

My husband and I have spent some time in Ireland, so we wanted traditional Irish fiddle music for our ceremony and cocktail hour. The Wedding Violin was perfect and exactly what we were looking for! Our guests, including an Aunt from Cork, Ireland, were thrilled to say the least.
